TRIADS Messy Data Meeting with Claudia Carroll

On April 24th, Postdoctoral Researcher Claudia Carroll will present research on 'Classification of literary character descriptions as proxies for reader cognition' in the TRIADS group on 'Messy' Data (e.g., text, audio, video). The Messy Data working group provides members of the WashU community with an opportunity to learn about new developments in the analysis of unstructured data, broadly defined, including large language models and multimodal data, with a focus on interdisciplinary applications to pressing substantive questions. All members of the community are welcome to attend, especially those interested in fostering connections across campus around a shared methodological challenge.
