Too often, brilliant data insights fail to spark change or capture the attention of audiences because they're buried in charts, jargon, or disconnected slides. Storytelling is a powerful tool that can be leveraged to enhance the impact of your work through thoughtful visuals and narrative.

This event will be particularly helpful for data science researchers who are preparing a proposal or article to showcase their work. By the end of this event, you will have learned more about the various storytelling resources at WashU, as well as how you can enhance your scholarship by leveraging those resources to create and tell your own data-driven stories.
