Director: Jacob Montgomery
Associate Professor of Political Science
jacob.montgomery@wustl.edu

Montgomery's research focuses on how to use advanced computational methods for core social science tasks including measurement, theory testing, survey research, and causal inference. Substantively, his research focus is on American politics and more recently, on social media. In addition to his work with TRIADS, he is an associate professor and director of data science training in the Department of Political Science; chair of the political science track for the Division of Computational and Data Sciences; and director of The American Social Survey for the Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government, and Public Policy.

Associate Director: Tammy English
Associate Professor of Psychological and Brain Science
tenglish@wustl.edu

English’s research is focused on better understanding how emotion regulation operates in daily life and develops across adulthood into old age. In addition to her work with TRIADS, she is an associate professor, head of the social & personality division, and director of the Emotion and Relationships laboratory in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. In her current work, English is examining how age-related shifts in motivation and resources impact emotion regulation and well-being in the context of depression and cognitive impairment.
